As an established Family Photographer, my goal is to create highest quality portraits of you and your loved ones, capturing each detail, expression, and pose during your family photoshoot experience. So here are a few of my must have shots:
1. Family Photo
Okay, that is kind of a given that at a family photo session, the photographer will get family shots :) The bonus is that there are several poses for a family shot for you to choose from. For example a sitting on the floor pose, a standing pose or a mix of some members sitting and some standing. This is what makes the image interesting.
2. Couple / Parents (Family photographer recommended)
You will be surprised to know, how many parents I come across who do not have a portrait of just them since their children were born. I am one of them. As a mother of two, I understand that we are always looking for best images of our children and that's how we fill our phones with just their photos.
In my experience it's usually the moms who are left out as they are the photographers in the family. But having a family portrait session gives her an opportunity to #existinphotos. One day your children will look for you in photos and what will they find?
So I definitely try to keep mom in most of them if not all :) Just the parents shot is like a date experience in the middle of the family photoshoot experience.
3. Siblings (Family photographer Favorite)
This is also very dear to me. They will be the ones who will be there for each other even after we are gone. Their love, their fights, their laughs, their silly faces inspire me and one of favorite shots to capture.
4. Individual child and/or parent
These are very important to get their individual personality shine at a family portrait session. Each one of them shines like a star!
What images would you like from your family photography session?
